This training, facilitated by Dustin Weber, is designed to help established churches better understand their community as well as their current church demographics. The first step in reaching your community is knowing your community.  

Dinner churches are an easy first step for an established church to begin an apostolic initiative. Mark and Mary Cryderman will walk leaders through practical steps in launching your own dinner church in your own neighborhood or a community near your church. 

The new Online Learning Portal is a powerful tool for expanding your knowledge and training new leaders. Michael Forney will lead a training on how to utilize this new tool.



One person should register for all participants coming from your church. You will need to know the Pre-Conference Training class choice of each participant if they are attending. It is expected that churches will pay the full conference price for their appointed pastors and lay delegates. There will be no discounts for shortened attendance time. You must register before Monday, June 4th. Click the button below to get started!

*Includes pastors who are “Local Hires” at an SMC Church, or Elders/CMCs not currently appointed to an SMC Church.



A group rate of $148.35 ($129.00 plus taxes) can be had at the DoubleTree by reserving your room before June 1st by clicking the button below. If you have tax exempt status you can get a small discount ($7.74/night) on the day you check in by paying with a “church” credit card or check and presenting a “Michigan Sales & Use Tax Certificate of Exemption” from your church or organization.  The original reservation, however, may be made with any credit card. If you have questions call the Conference office at 517-750-9211 and leave a message. Your call will be returned by cell phone.

Just to be clear, lodging is separate from the Annual Conference registration price. Your registration for Annual Conference will not also provide you a room at DoubleTree.



We are pleased to offer childcare again this year.  A small charge of $5.00 per child per meal is requested (see prices below.)  Pre-registration is required by Monday, June 4th. Please register by clicking the button below and entering your information. Payment is made day of event at the “Multiply 2.0” registration table.

There will not be an Annual Conference Report Book in the same format as previous years. The Conference office will be providing, in advance, pertinent materials required by our Standing Rules for your consideration. The policies are being reviewed and any updates will be made available on the Conference website. Minutes of last year’s Annual Conference are currently available on the Conference website.



While registration opens at 11:00am we invite you to come early to register and view the Expo. Lunch is provided only to those who have registered for one of the Pre-Conference Training Classes. If you are arriving at this time, do note that there is an on-site restaurant at the DoubleTree.
