This is an in-person course taught by Rev. Dr. John Lane at The Arbor on February 6-7, 2026. This is a required course for all Credentialing Candidates.

Total cost: $125 plus books
In this course, participants will explore the unique contribution John and Charles Wesley made to Christendom, their alignment with historic Christianity and their continuing impact today. We will particularly focus upon the doctrines of salvation, sanctification and the work and means of grace. At the end of the course, participants will be able to articulate a Wesleyan worldview on doctrine (theology), discipline (work and means of grace), and spirit (the relational tone and culture of Wesley Arminianism).
While the in-person class will be a Friday night and all day Saturday, please note that pre and post class work will be required.
