Background Check
If your church has not yet done a background check on your LMC, they need to complete the authorization for a background check. If your church already has conducted a background check on your candidate, please send a copy of the results to Ashley Tohm at the Southern Michigan Conference Office to keep in our files.
What is an LMC?
A Local Ministerial Candidate is someone who senses a call to ministry and would like to enter the ordination process in the Free Methodist Church. If the local church board has already approved them as an LMC, the next step is for the Lead Pastor to register them with the Conference.
