In this class, students study a holistic approach to pastoral care and learn to provide spiritual, emotional, and social support to people in need by helping them face challenges, challenging systems that might be obstacles to positive development, and forming intentional relationships with people. Practical areas of pastoral ministry are explored through lecture, demonstration, practice, and visits to local churches.
